Education: Attorney Doug Goyen attended Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law from 1994 to 1997, graduating in 1997 with his law degree of Juris Doctor. Goyen attended school for his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Dallas where he graduated with highest honors Summa Cum Lauda receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1994.

Licenses: Attorney Goyen passed the bar exam in Texas in 1997 and has been licensed and in good standing in Texas ever since. Additionally, Attorney Goyen has been admitted to practice in Federal Court since 1999 through the United States District Court, Northern District of Texas.

Work History: Attorney received his law license in 1997 and has been working as an attorney in Texas ever since. Goyen has represented countless people who were victims of negligence causing wrongful death, car accidents, 18 wheeler accidents, premises liability, slip and fall, and any variety of cases involving negligence for people who need the services of an accident attorney.

Including his 7 years as an insurance adjuster, Goyen has over 30 years experience handling accident and injury cases in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.

Personal Details:

Doug Goyen grew up in Dallas, graduating from Bryan Adams High School in 1986. He served in the US Navy upon graduation from high school. Doug Goyen worked for GEICO insurance in their claims department before law school and worked there and for other insurance companies during law school.

Doug Goyen married to Laurie Goyen in 1990, and they have two sons. They live in Plano, Texas, with their children attending public schools in the Plano Independent School District.

Laurie is a published author. In 2013 she wrote and published River Through My Heart, A Memoir. Its a story of struggles she faced, and how she has relied on her faith, family and friends to grow through those struggles.
